An expert on the data platform, Charley is the Principal Consultant at QS2 AG which is a Data Platform Consultancy and Data-focused Application Development Organisation.
Charley has been working on all aspects of SQL Server and database platforms in general since version 4 on OS/2, and with over 25 years experience has supported and consulted to numerous organisations in database administration, training, development, architecture, Cloud infrastructure and operational excellence and has conducted focused staff mentoring throughout Europe, the USA and Australasia.
Recognised as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, PASS Regional Mentor and MCT Regional Lead, communities are Charley's passion; being active in database communities since the mid 90's, where he established and participated in heterogeneous database user groups in Australia.
He continues to lead an active community role through presenting at, serving in and organising various professional community events in Switzerland and around the world.
A thought leader in the Microsoft Data and AI space, Chris currently lives in the World Wide Learning team scaling his knowledge to thousands of people through his official Microsoft Learn content and Microsoft Courses.
Prior to this, Chris worked in the Artificial Intelligence and Research Engineering team at Microsoft working with Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, Bot Framework and Microsoft R Server. He previously ran his own business performing cloud migrations and analytical projects.
He was also a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional from 2010 – 2016 and spoke at a range of global conferences. He has been the author of a wide range of Microsoft Official courses with Microsoft Learning experience since 2007.
